Hi, I'm selling my 2009 Toyota Corolla XRS because I just bought my daughter's 2017 Corolla. I bought this 09 car in 2011 with 70.000 miles and now its at 220,000. For most of those years the car was in my garage or parked at the train station 4 miles from my home. I've worked from home since March 2020. The XRS model was Toyota's attempt at making the Corolla sportier. It has a Camry engine, a manual transmission, a sun roof, and sportier features. But at the end of the day its still a Corolla and very practical. They advertised MPG is 30/Hwy and I expect to get about 350 miles when I fill the 11.5 gallon gas tank. The air conditioning works and the car comes with 3 keys. The brakes are newer and the tires have some more miles on them. I saved all the receipts from the maintenance over the years. At 150,000 miles Toyota admitted they had a oil consumption issue. I asked my mechanic what to do and he said just put oil in it. I add about a quart a week with every gas tank. I use the Valvoline 5w/20 full synthetic I buy at Walmart for about $5/ quart and the oil gets changed every 5,000 miles. I really liked this car and hate to part with it but I don't need 2 cars. The first person to inbox me will be buying this car for $1400. I do insist on going to the DMV to transfer the title with you and I can go at any time. Thanks
