The Mighty Thor #119 - Published 1st June 1965
“Somehow, a victory has more meaning when it is won by the force of your own arms, the ingenuity of your own brain! This battle I shall remember for many years to come!” - Thor
Continued from last issue....
Thor is spared from a death dealing bolt of mystic energy fired by the Destroyer when he suddenly becomes briefly immaterial, allowing the God of Thunder to escape his attacker. Thor is completely unaware that this has been done by his step-brother Loki, who although imprisoned in a cell in Asgard, has entered into a mystical trance to save Thor from destruction in order to prevent the discovery of his cheating in the "Trial of the Gods."
6.5 Grade - The basic minimum for most collectors but depends on your budget! This is a comic with wear showing on the edges or stress around the staples. Still clean and flat with a small mark or cover writing but I do mean small. Pages may be yellowing slightly but no brown edges. Above average, read a few times and stored away with at least some concern. A staple may be detached but, if that' the case, the rest of the comic should appear Very Fine. For British comics, a little more wear on the spine and cover is permissible and there may be some corner curl evident. British comics are all shapes and sizes so corners and edges suffer more. Again, think that this is a comic that has clearly been looked after in its history.
